MQNA Emotion Transformer
Every feeling carries information.
Frustration often points to something you care about. Worry shows what you are trying to protect. Disappointment reveals what you hoped for. When we rush past a feeling, or push it away, we miss what it is trying to tell us.
This short exercise helps you slow down and listen. It is designed for leaders, and for anyone who wants to respond to pressure with intention rather than reaction.
How it works
- Moment. Name what you are feeling, in your own words.
- Question. Ask what the feeling might be telling you.
- Nugget. Choose a strength that would help, then compare it with a suggestion.
- Affirmation. Set one small, specific intention you can act on.
These steps follow MQNA, the practice behind all our coaching.
Use your own words. A single word or a short sentence both work.
